The event was fun, and it seemed to be profitable for the authors in attendance.
While I was there, I thought I'd see if they had a copy of the also super cool novel, Lucky Man, by Wabi-Sabi friend and This Blog Will Change Your Life (TBWCYL, Inc.) spokesman, Ben Tanzer.
However, much to my chagrin while I was faithfully looking for a new copy of Lucky Man (they make great gifts), I noticed this book in the Fiction & Literature section where Lucky Man should have been.
It's hard to read in this picture, but the title is "Best Lesbian Bondage Erotica" by Tristan Taormino.
Now, I know you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but the presence of this provocative title makes me think that Ben faces an uphill battle getting the attention of patrons browsing the stacks at their local bookstore.
I guess you could say the odds are "stacked" against him.
Fortunately, the good folks at TBWCYL, Inc. are tireless in their efforts to promote their life changing work, and I'm confident that the strength of their new international marketing effort with Dunkin' Donuts will be more than enough to overcome this small hurdle on their way towards world fiction and literature domination.
Good luck Ben!
P.S. If you want some advice on how you can "Sell More..." copies of Lucky Man, I think I know someone you can talk to. ;->
