The good news is that the House of Representatives voted last night to reauthorize the successful State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), which provides health insurance coverage to millions of children. The US Senate is expected to pass the bill on Thursday.
The bad news is that President Bush appears likely to veto the bill.
